What stays on your device
Device connection settings, pinned host keys, cached thumbnails, downloaded camera segments, prepared videos, and job progress stay in the app's local container. The app-generated SSH private key is stored in a ThisDeviceOnly Keychain item. Video is shared with Photos only when you tap Save and grant add-only access.
Network access
Annex B connects directly to the compatible comma device address you configure on your local network. SSH/SFTP access is read-only, and a changed SSH host key is a hard stop. Drive maps and place names use Apple's MapKit and reverse-geocoding system services; route metadata remains cached on your device and is never sent to an Annex B service. Privacy, Support, Licenses, and GitHub setup links open in the system browser only after you tap them.
Retention and deletion
Downloaded and prepared files remain local until you delete them in Annex B or remove the app. iOS may evict reconstructible thumbnail cache data. Videos saved to Photos are managed by you in Photos.
